Over three hours, we'll explore different ways to generate unique points of view that surprise, delight, and confuse.

Using our own experiences, wild imagination, and the classic improv skill of going from A to C, we'll work through a variety of exercises designed to unlock unexpected philosophies, logics, and mantras.

We'll also spend some time exploring when—and when not—to deploy these tools in your improv.

Terry Withers is a dedicated improv artist, teacher, and administrator who got his start as a teacher in NYC at UCB. He has two decades of experience coaching and teaching improv in NYC, at regional improv theaters/colleges across the country, and now in Virginia Beach.

He is a founding member of indie improv team darling Fuck That Shit, featured in The Terry Withers Mysteries, creator of Paranormal Comedy, The College Improv Conference, Short Form Is The Only Art Form, Cooking In The Kitchen 2032 and dozens of even less marketable shows, Terry is proud of the growing vibrant community of dedicated comedic improvisers that is The Radical Agreement Project, the improv production company he founded during Covid.
