Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to serve the community through improv education and performance opportunities while sharing the art of improv with everyone.

Values

Safety – We create a warm and welcoming environment for audiences, students, and performers by facilitating and fostering openness and accountability. To preserve health and mental well-being, we will not tolerate any form of harassment.

Inclusion – Improvisation thrives on diversity, and as an organization, we value and encourage inclusivity within our students and staff, including culture, race, religion, age, disability, gender identity, sexual preference, etc.

We aim for our audiences, casts, and instructors to reflect the diversity of voices in St. Louis, providing an inclusive space for all.

Joy – We provide a space for everyone (audiences, students, teachers, and performers) to get creative, have fun, and improve themselves.

Yes, We’re a Non Profit!

Compass Improv is a 501(c)(3) improv theatre and education organization that creates performance and training opportunities for new students and seasoned performers alike.
